<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recording visible information on the information recording surface of an optical recording medium by using a recorder, wherein gradation is provided to the visible information to improve easy viewing and design. <P>SOLUTION: The optical recording medium 100 represented by a compact disk is provided with a center hole 1 for fixing the medium to the center, a signal recording area 2 for recording a signal on its inner periphery, and a visible information recording area 3 for recording visible information on its outer periphery. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
