BASE STATION EQUIPMENT, COMMUNICATION TERMINAL UNIT, AND COMMUNICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide base station equipment that can suppress an interference to a communication terminal unit performing communication with the other base station equipment by using an HDR and to the other communication terminal unit communicating with its own station at the same time by using the HDR.

SOLUTION: This base station equipment is provided with a transmission rate setting means which sets the transmission rate of a transmitting signal to a communication terminal unit based on the actual reception quality of the terminal unit, a power value setting means which sets a minimum transmission power value at which the characteristic of the received signal of the communication terminal unit meets desired quality with respect to the transmitting signal at the set transmission rate, and a transmitting means which transmits the transmitting signal at the set transmission rate to the terminal unit by using the set transmission power value.
