The invention concerns a force-feedback mechanism (4) designed for a force-feedback pedal. It comprises an electric motor (28) for positioning a control member (30) via transmission means. The transmission means comprise at least a cable (48, 52) whereof one end is fixed to a first pulley (42, 54), then is wound around a second pulley (50, 60) and the second end is fixed on the first pulley (42, 54). The invention is applicable to a motor vehicle accelerator pedal.
