DASH BOARD BEAM ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A dash board beam assembly and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to sufficiently support a dash board assembly even in a side-on collision. CONSTITUTION: A dash board beam assembly(10) includes a steering column supporter(14) and a thermoplastic beam structure(12) having first and second end brackets(20) attached to the beam structure. The beam structure is formed by a front beam member and a rear beam member. The front and rear beam members are combined by vibration welding. A folding energy absorbing portion(50) is extended from the lower side edge of the front beam member. The steering column supporter consists of a lower steering column support member(70) and an upper steering column support member(70-1).
