<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve high speed transmission characteristics of a connector for a double face contact made of elastic elastomer, formed by burying linear conductive thin wires. <P>SOLUTION: This connector for the double face contact made of elastic elastomer is formed in such a sway that a plurality of conductive thin wires buried in an elastic elastomer layer are extended in almost the vertical direction to the surface and the back of the elastomer layer to become linear, both end parts of a plurality of conductive thin wires are protruded from the surface and the back of the elastomer, and the diameter of a columnar part buried in the elastomer layer is made different from the diameters of the both end parts protruded from the elastomer layer, and self-impedance of the conductive wirers is reduced while the connection to an existing electric contact is kept. An indent part is formed in the opening periphery of a hole of the elastic elastomer into which the conductive thin wires are inserted. A step is installed in the columnar part of the conductive thin wires to improve the holding of the conductive thin wires inside the elastomer layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
