<p>It is intended to provide novel medicinal compositions for eliminating pain and anxiety. Namely, medicinal compositions containing lactoferrin as the active ingredient. These compositions are useful in treating at least one disease or condition selected from among the group consisting of pains including pain at the first phase and pain at the second phase, anxiety and stress. In particular, these compositions are useful in relieving or eliminating pain and anxiety which seriously worsen the quality of life of terminal cancer patients. These compositions are also useful in treating pains including pain in the first phase and pain in the second phase and inflammation accompanying arthritis or diseases at bones/joints (for example, rheumatoid arthritis, arthritis deformans, stiff shoulder due to age, traumas caused by exercises such as tennis elbow syndrome and baseball shoulder, low back pain).</p> |
