A printing form fabrication device consists of a number of switchable light-sources for generating raster points for receiving the print colors on the surface of the printing form blanks. At least one flexible optical fiber array, and a positioning device for the light-exit surfaces are used. The switchable light sources (30,31) are arranged grouped in a matrix formation and the optical fiber arrangement (32,33) contains well-ordered fiber-bundles arranged by selective release of fixed components or elements, in which the relative layers/positioning of the light-input and exit-surfaces (45) of the discrete fibers (46) of a fiber-bundle are the same, and that each fiber (46) is assigned on the input-side a light source (30,31) and the fiber bundles are combined on the output-side and their light exit surfaces (45) are arranged largely in the same plane.
