The invention relates to a system that is intended for use in the technical field of industrial safety and, specifically, for face protection with the emphasis on bioprotection. The inventive system takes the form of a basic biosafety element that is used to protect the faces of persons involved in the handling of biocontaminated material and who require the best facial protection possible, such as health professionals (dentists, physicians, surgeons). The handling of contaminated permanent visors (non-disposable) poses a technical problem for the aforementioned persons which, owing to the continuous re-use of said visors, increases the high risk of biocontamination for the direct user, auxiliary personnel and/or patients. The inventive solution consists of an integral face protection system comprising a visor-holder section which supports a disposable visor. According to the invention, the visor is disposable and the use thereof minimises the risks of biocontamination. In this way, once used, the inventive visor can be disposed of in accordance with the regulations governing biocontaminated waste and involves only minimum handling. Together, the disposable visor and said visor holder can form a rotation arc of 90 degrees on two screws which are disposed laterally on the fixing and support structure. Said structure also comprises a damping and isolating system, a disposable sweatband and a device that is used to adjust the protector to the user's head circumference.
