<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a user choices for service bases and to enable quick correspondence when merchandise belonging to the user needs maintenance requiring parts replacement. <P>SOLUTION: If some failure occurs in a vehicle 101, a part to be replaced, failure contents, etc., are automatically specified by information communications with an information center 2 by using a user terminal (on-vehicle machine) used by the user (passenger). The user grasps information, such as the stock situation of the replacement parts at respective service bases, the location of the service bases and a standard estimated amount with a retrieval results image (figure 3) of the service bases and can select a desired service base among the service bases of his/her own will. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
