One embodiment of the present invention relates to a solar cell and presents a solar cell comprising an electrode buffer layer that includes at least one metal particle and a matrix containing metal oxide, the metal particles being in direct contact with the matrix. The solar cell has the advantage that the metal particles in the electrode buffer layer are evenly dispersed without any phase separation with the matrix, thus enabling an improvement in current density and charging due to high electron conductivity.
