<p>Vessels are often equipped with a periphery barrier which, in the passive state, is held compressed against the hull and, in the active state, is deployed at a distance from the vessel. The established barriers are both expensive and complicated to manufacture. The present invention allows barriers to be made up of a number of modules arranged one after the other, the barrier part of each module being linked with the barrier parts of neighbouring modules.</p> |
