PURPOSE: A driving apparatus of a plasma display panel is provided to improve the efficiency of energy by simplifying the control signal and the power wrings by unifying the integrated circuit board to drive the scan and driving circuits into one. CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus of a plasma display panel includes m x n number of discharging cells(61), a plurality of scan electrode lines(Y1-Ym), a plurality of sustain electrode lines(Z1-Zm), a plurality of address electrode lines(X1-Xn), a scan driving block(62), a sustain driving block(64) and an address driving block(66). In the driving apparatus, a display panel is formed by placing a plurality of pixel cells on the cross section region between the first and the second sustain electrodes and the address electrodes(X1-Xn) in the form of matrix. The scan driving block(62) drives the scan electrode lines(Y1-Ym), the sustain driving block(64) drives the sustain electrode lines(Z1-Zm) and the address driving block(66) drives the address electrode lines(X1-Xn). And, the address driving block(66) supplies the image data to the address electrodes lines(X1-Xn) with synchronizing to the scan pulse. |
