METHOD FOR DISPLAYING CHANGED CONTENTS OF WEB SITE IN DTV

PURPOSE: A method for displaying changed contents of a web site in a DTV is provided to periodically check the changed contents of a preferred web site while a user is watching a DTV broadcasting. CONSTITUTION: A user registers an address and a visiting period of a preferred web site in a DTV(Digital TV). An Internet connection unit(110) connects to the preferred web site for bring a first page and storing the first page at a memory unit(120). The Internet connection unit reconnects to the preferred web site for bring the first page according to the visiting period. A central processing unit(150) compares the previously brought first page with the newly brought first page for searching for the changed contents. If the central processing unit finds out the changed contents, the central processing unit summarizes the changed contents to be displayed on a screen. If the user selects the displayed summarized contents, a display unit(140) displays the corresponding web page.
