<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of easily making unaccustomed users to recognize a mounting position of an original, by indicating a correct original size and a mounting position on an original platen in response to a paper sheet size in a feeding portion and a copy multiplying power, and to provide the image forming apparatus capable of lighting a lighting display unit for selecting on the original setting display board by a cheap and simple constitution, and contributing to form good images. <P>SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus provided with the original platen of an original reader, and the original setting display board for indicating a setting position of the original in the vicinity of the original platen, the original setting display board has the lighting display unit capable of indicating the predetermined mounting position by irradiating light of a light source of the original reader before selecting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
