PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at reduction of the number of parts, cost reduction, improvement of assembling ease, and reduction of mold and die cost for a battery holder by enabling it to hold a plurality of kinds of batteries with different shapes. SOLUTION: A holder shell is structured with length-direction side shells 2 and width-direction side shells 3, to which, a bottom face member is included to form the battery holder. At both ends of one (a fixed side) of the opposing width-direction side shells 3 are fitted holding parts 4a, 5a protruded toward the inside of the holder, and at both ends of the other are fitted holding parts 4b, 5b protruded toward the inside of the holder at opposing corners of the holding parts 4a, 5a on the outer shell zoned by slits S. The holding part 4b is used together with the holding part 4a for holding short batteries and the holding part 5b is used together with the holding part 5a for holding tall batteries.
