HOT-MELT ADHESIVE HAVING APTITUDE TO RECYCLING OF USED PAPER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hot-melt adhesive which is not finely ground in a splitting step using a pulper and easily removed by a screen filter in recycling books as used paper and not imparting an adverse effect on paper making process and quality of paper sheets. SOLUTION: The hot-melt adhesive having aptitude to recycling of used paper is characterized in that it has≤70 MPa difference between storage moduli E' at 160 Hz and 10 Hz at 30°C and maximum loss elastic modulus E'' at 160 Hz is -15 to -5°C, or it is a hot-melt adhesive mainly comprising an ethylene- vinyl acetate copolymer which contains 14-25 wt.% of vinyl acetate.
