PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for drain pipes, which can be arranged in a space-saving manner without requiring a stack vent pipe, ensures ventilation in the pipes of the entire drainage system, and exerts drainage backflow preventive effect. SOLUTION: The joint device for the drain pipes is arranged near an intersection between an upper edge of a drainage riser 2 and a horizontal pipe 3, and a joint body 6 functions to connect the drainage riser 2 to the horizontal pipe 3. The interior of the joint body 6 is formed into a double pipe structure, and a venting mechanism 30 is connected to an inner channel 46 of the double pipe, followed by connecting the horizontal pipe 3 to an outer channel 45 at a location at which a lower edge of the inner channel of the double pipe falls within an inner diameter of the horizontal pipe 3.
