PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a famotidine solution injection which can be preserved in the solution state for a long period and has excellent stability. SOLUTION: This solution injection containing famotidine as a main ingredient is characterized by containing one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of hydrochloric acid, phosphoric acid, cysteine hydrochloride, L-histidine hydrochloride, polyoxyethylene hydrogenated castor oil 50, and sodium hydrogen sulfite as a solubilizing agent and one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of sodium edetate, glycine, thioglycolic acid, cysteine hydrochloride, L-histidine hydrochloride, sodium thiosulfate, sodium hydrogen sulfite, sodium pyrosulfite, sodium biphosphate, sodium dihydrogen phosphate, and potassium dihydrogen phosphate. The solution injection wherein the concentration of the famotidine or its salt is 0.5 to 5 mg/mL converted into the famotidine, and wherein the pH of the solution is 5.5 to 7.5.
