<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition for inkjet printing, which emits a red light when irradiated with ultraviolet rays, is adsorbed on the surface of e.g. paper or fibers by which it is readily absorbed, particularly on the surface coated with an India ink stick, and gives a good visible luminous intensity, while it is invisible under daylight. <P>SOLUTION: This ink composition for inkjet printing is characterized in that it contains 0.001-5.0 wt.% of a fluorescent material represented by formula (4) and at lest 70 wt.% of solvents comprising (i) a solvent having a rate of evaporation of 25 or higher and a flash point of 20°C or higher and (ii) ethanol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
