PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a twisted carrier passage to carry a medium by changing a direction of a carrying surface of the medium by twisting it at a specified angle without using a twisted carrier belt. SOLUTION: A pair of guide plates twisted at the specified angle is set between the first and second passages by extending at least one carrying part on one side of the first carrier passage in the direction of the second carrier passage, extending at least one carrying part on the other side of the second carrier passage in the direction of the first carrier passage and arranging them against each other by the first carrier passage having at least two pieces of the carrying parts arranged in parallel and the second carrier passage having at least two pieces of the carrying parts arranged in parallel and having the carrying surface of the first carrier passage twisted at the specified angle.
