PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article transferring device capable of preventing an increase of weight of a whole device and reducing a manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: The stacker crane has a traveling frame body travelably provided on a predetermined route and retaining and moving an article through a liftable carriage. Front and rear strut frames 11 constituting the traveling frame body and an upper frame 12 for connecting upper parts of both strut frames 11 are connected by a bolt/nut 19A, 19B through a right/left connection plate 16.
