PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a film carrier which can improve the handling during carrying in spite of being a conveyance path switching type and can surely avert trouble. SOLUTION: In the film carrier 10, an engaging member 74 energized by a spring 79 presses the end of a conveyance unit 14 with a plurality of conveyance paths formed therein, thereby, the conveyance unit 14 is positioned and fixed to a 135 reading position. Accordingly, when the film carrier 10 is removed from a carrier case, the conveyance unit 14 does not go on the rampage (move) any more within the film carrier an the failure of the conveyance unit 14 is averted and in addition, the handling of the film carrier 10 during carrying the same is improved.
