PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and narrowly-frame liquid crystal panel and a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device is provided with: a segment substrate 2 which is made by successively stacking segment transparent electrode groups 4 and alignment layers; and a common substrate 1 which is prepared by successively stacking common transparent electrode groups 3 and alignment layers. These substrates are arranged so that their electrodes orthogonally cross with each other to form a rectangular display section 11 and pasted together by a seal member 5, and then the inside of the member 5 is filled with a liquid crystal layer. The liquid crystal display device is constituted of segment connection terminals 7 which are made by extending the groups 4 through one edge section of the member 5, common connection terminals 6 which are arranged in parallel with the terminals 7, conductively connecting sections 9 which are arranged in one edge section of the member 5 to electrically connect one half of the terminals 6 to the substrate 1, a wiring pattern 10 in which the remaining half of the terminals 6 are extended through one edge section of the member 5, an electrically conductive connection 9 which is arranged in the other edge section of the opposing member 5 so that the pattern 10 and the substrate 1 are electrically connected together, and an output wiring 8 which connects the section 9 and the groups 3.
