PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional observation device in which a sensor is scanned spirally. SOLUTION: A first gear 16 is turned by a motor 12 so as to turn a second gear 18, and guide arms 26 are turned integrally. Since the guide arms 26 are inserted into, and passed through, a slide cam 30 engaged with a spiral shaft 28 so as to be slidable, the slide cam 30 is moved back and forth along the spiral shaft 28 while it is turned so as to be interlocked with the rotation of the guide arms 26. The movement of the slide cam 30 is interlocked with support shafts 36 of a sensor part 20 by a crank arm 40 so as to rock the sensor part 20 along arc grooves 22. A two-dimension can be scanned only by a portion of a rotation angle of a single drive source along a spiral track by the rotation and the rocking of the sensor part 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
