PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel tank for a vehicle with a simple manufacture process which prevents the fuel shortage in braking when little fuel remains, and positively uses the fuel accumulated in the lower part without waste. SOLUTION: This fuel tank for a vehicle provided with a fuel pump 11 attached on a base plate 1 of a fuel tank, and a fuel reservoir 12 in which a lower end intake part of the fuel pump 11 is opened, sucks fuel from the fuel reservoir 12. In the fuel tank, a lower part 20 lower than a fuel pump attachment position on the base plate 1 is formed, an a step surface wall 21 for stopping waves which prevents movement of the fuel in the lower part 20 is integrally formed with the base plate 1. A fuel-discharge pipe 23 is formed within the step surface wall 21, and the fuel-discharge pipe 23 is connected with the lower end fuel reservoir 12 of the fuel pump 11 through an external communication hose 25.
