PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferritic stainless steel sheet which has excellent secondary hole enlargementability in the bottom of a work after press working. SOLUTION: The hot rolled sheet of ferritic stainless steel having a composition comprising, by mass,≤0.015% C,≤0.5% Si,≤0.5% Mn,≤0.050% P,≤0.01% S,≤0.30% Cu, 15.0 to 20.0% Cr,≤0.05% Al,≤0.02% N, 0.05 to 0.3% Ti and 0.1 to 0.5% Nb, and in which the value of (%Ti×%N) is controlled to <0.005 is subjected to hot rolled sheet annealing, process annealing and finish annealing under strictly prescribed conditions, and precipitates with a particle diameter of≥0.3μm other than TiN are precipitated by 10,000 to 100,000 pieces per mm<SP>2</SP>into the cold rolled steel sheet.
