<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attenuate pressure wave generated to the fuel in a fuel injection device. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel injection device is equipped with a plurality of fuel injection valves 21 to 24 and a common rail for storing the fuel supplied to these fuel injection valves under high pressure. Ends of fuel branch pipes 61, 62 are connected respectively corresponding to at least two fuel injection valves 21, 22 whose numbers are even by which fuel injection is not performed among these fuel injection valves, the other ends of these fuel branch pipes are combined each other, one end of a fuel pipe 7a is connected to the combined part of these fuel branch pipes and the other ends of the fuel pipes are connected to the common rail. The fuel is supplied into the fuel injection valve from the common rail through the fuel pipe and the fuel branch pipe. The length of each fuel branch pipe is equal to each other, and the length of the fuel branch pipe is equal to the length of the fuel pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
