<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developer regulating member, a developer removing member, a developing device, a developer removing device, a process cartridge and an image forming apparatus by which toner sealing property and stability in abutting pressure between the developer regulating member and a developer container or between the developer removing member and a recovery container are improved without increasing the number of parts. <P>SOLUTION: An elastic blade 52 is constituted to have a projecting part formed to be extended nearly in parallel with the axial line of a developing sleeve 54 and coming into contact with the developer container 56 at the neighboring position of a supporting sheet metal 53, and constituted so that the displacement of the edge of the projecting part may be larger in a 1st direction perpendicular to the axial direction of the sleeve 54 on a plane parallel with a contact surface between the container 56 and the projecting part than in a 2nd direction perpendicular to the axial direction and perpendicular to the 1st direction when the same force is applied to the 1st and the 2nd directions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
