<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly adjust timing of start of utterance among a plurality of sound source circuits and to drastically increase the number of sounds the utterance of which can be simultaneously started at exact timing. <P>SOLUTION: Key-ons to be generated are successively stored in a key-on register. A timing of a sampling cycle of waveform data is defined as operation timing. In an operation timing T1, utterance start information for a first sound source circuit is created from the contents of the key-on register and the key-ons are set in a key-on buffer. In addition, a stand-by state is set. In an operation timing T2, utterance start information for a second sound source circuit is created from the contents of the key-on register, the key-ons are simultaneously set in the key-on buffer and the stand-by state of the first sound source circuit is released. In an operation timing T3 after that, a plurality of pieces of music are simultaneously uttered between the first and second sound source circuit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
