PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint device for a segment wherein a segment inner face is smooth, tightening is possible, and fastening work is easy. SOLUTION: A female joint 5 is provided with a female joint case 21 having an opening in a faying surface side, and a nut 22 having a detent mechanism and freely moving in a joining direction in the case, and the nut 22 is energized in an opening direction by an elastic means 23. A male joint 4 is provided with a male joint case 11 having an opening in a faying face side, a joining bolt 12 freely moving in a joining direction in the case, and a worm wheel 13 screwed onto the joining bolt 12 and rotated by a worm gear 15. The joining bolt 12 has an advance screw part for screwing the worm wheel 13 and a joining screw part engaging with the nut 22 of the female joint in its opening side. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
