<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating boron-containing wastewater which can easily solidify boron contained in wastewater to render boron harmless and can effectively prevent the occurrence of a harmful substance as a result of dissolution of boron from a boron-containing solidification product. <P>SOLUTION: This boron-containing solidification product contains a boron- containing compound such as Ca<SB>6</SB>Al<SB>2</SB>[B(OH)<SB>4</SB>]<SB>2</SB>(OH)<SB>16</SB>.3OH<SB>2</SB>O, Ca<SB>6</SB>Al<SB>12</SB>B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>6</SB>(OH)<SB>12</SB>.36H<SB>2</SB>O, or Ca<SB>6</SB>Fe<SB>2</SB>(SO<SB>4</SB>)<SB>2</SB>[B(OH)<SB>4</SB>](OH)<SB>12</SB>.26H<SB>2</SB>O. A method for preparing the boron-containing solidification product is also provided. A method for solidifying boron-containing wastewater is further provided which includes the steps of: supplying a calcium compound to a wastewater tank for storing boron-containing wastewater to regulate the composition of wastewater (composition regulation step); and withdrawing the boron-containing wastewater with the composition being regulated from the wastewater tank and drying and maturing the wastewater to prepare a solid (solid preparation step).
