<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a member for a card especially improved in emboss processability, bending resistance and heat resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The member for the card comprises at least three layers, that is, a white intermediate core layer (1) formed from a white polyester resin A, made of 55-95 wt.% of a polyethylene terephthalate polyester, 45-5 wt.% of a polyarylate polyester and 5-18 pts.wt. of an inorganic white pigment with respect to 100 pts.wt. of the total amount of both polyesters, and both transparent outer surface layers formed from a transparent polyester resin B made of 20-50 wt.% of the polyethylene terephthalate polyester and 80-50 wt.% of the polyarylate polyester. The warpage of this member when the member is heated to 105°C at a leaning angle of 45°is not more than 1.5 mm and the bending number of times up to breaking at a bending angle of 135°of the member is not less than 700 times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
