摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injecting unit for effectively performing melting and injection of a light metal material, in particular, an injecting unit for remarkably restraining oxidation in formation of a magnesium alloy. SOLUTION: In the injecting unit 100 in a light metal injection-forming machine, the light metal material is supplied into an injection cylinder 11 as a short bar material 101. The injecting unit 100 is provided with a material supplying device 20 for supplying the short bar material 101 one by one into the injection cylinder 11, the injection cylinder 11 and heating devices 14, 15, 16 for sequentially melting short bar materials starting from the short bar material 101 supplied earlier, and a pushing bar member 41 or an injection hydraulic piston rod 113 for injecting the melted short bar material 101 by progressively advancing non-melt short bar materials 101. The pushing bar member 41 is driven with a first driving device 50 being a hydraulic driving device and a second driving device 70 being a motor driving device, and further, the injection hydraulic piston rod 113 is driven with one piece of injection hydraulic cylinder 111.
