PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic water treatment apparatus provided with an aluminum electrode and having improved water treatment capacity which can eliminate such a drawback that, in a power saving operation, in treating object water having a low pollution level, in which supply current for electrolysis has been reduced for reducing the dissolution level of aluminum on an anode side, floatation cannot be sometimes effectively performed due to an insufficient amount of hydrogen evolved in a cathode relative to the amount of produced flock. SOLUTION: This electrolytic water treatment apparatus electrolytically treats object water introduced into an electrolytic cell provided with an aluminum anode to separate pollutants contained in the object treatment water and is constructed so that a treatment chamber 2 within the electrolytic cell is partitioned by a composite electrode 3 using iron on the cathode side. Further, a fine bubble generating agitator is installed between the electrolytic cell and a floatation tank for floating scum after the electrolytic treatment. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
