PURPOSE: An internet TV and a text display method thereof are provided to extract text of a web page on which a mouse pointer is positioned to display the text via an additional OSD. CONSTITUTION: An internet TV includes an interface part(10) for the connection to a PSTN, LAN or cable for the connection with an external communication network, a graphic processing part(11) for processing a web page input via the interface part from the communication network to display via a display part(14), a text separating part(12) for separating text from source data of the web page, an OSD processing part(13) for processing the separated text for the OSD display, and a control part(15) for recognizing the position of a mouse point on the displayed web page according to the setting of a user and separating the corresponding text along the recognized mouse pointer to display the text on an OSD.
