PURPOSE: A device for adjusting the height of a stepping panel for a chair is provided to freely adjust the height of the stepping panel of the chair, especially, a stool for a piano, according to the body size of a child. CONSTITUTION: The device for adjusting the height of a stepping panel(30) for a chair comprises a pair of posts(10), each having a fastening hook(11), a reinforcement rib, a front guide surface(12), a plurality of holding holes(13) formed at the guide surface, and a vertical screw bore, a guide body(20) formed with penetrated bores(21) for the insertion of the posts, a side support protrusion(22), a screw hole, and a front elongated bore, the stepping panel having a support plate formed with a reinforcement rib, an auxiliary height adjustment portion(50) having a screw shaft to be fastened to the screw bores of the posts, and a holding pin rotatably hinged to the elongated bore of the guide body.
