PURPOSE: Sealing structure of a valve for a compressor is provided to improve the responsiveness of the valve, and to minimize noise in contacting the suction valve to the piston by operating the valve actively with reducing the contact area between the piston and the valve. CONSTITUTION: A valve sealing system comprises a piston(20) having a gas passage in a piston body(22) inserted to a cylinder(10) and a valve sealing placing part(25) formed in the end of the body, and a suction valve(30) opening and closing the gas passage by linearly contacting the valve sealing placing part with a contact sealing part(35). The contact area is minimized between the piston reciprocating in the cylinder and the valve opening and closing the gas passage formed in the piston. The responsiveness of the valve is improved, and noise is reduced by operating the valve actively and smoothly.
