HYDROGEN GAS DISCHARGE DEVICE OF REACTING SYSTEM USING HYDROGEN STORAGE ALLOY

PURPOSE: A hydrogen gas discharge device of a reacting system by using a hydrogen storage alloy is provided to prevent explosion by discharging hydrogen gas from the reacting system on fire with installing a hydrogen gas discharge pipe and a discharge valve unit additionally. CONSTITUTION: A reacting system includes reactors(1,2) filled with hydrogen storage alloy for exothermic reaction or endothermic reaction in absorbing or radiating hydrogen gas; a hydrogen passage pipe(3) connected to reactors to form the hydrogen passage between reactors; a compressor(4) connected to the hydrogen gas passage pipe to flow hydrogen gas by applying pressure in the hydrogen gas passage pipe; and a transfer valve unit(5) installed in the hydrogen gas passage pipe to open and close the hydrogen gas passage. A hydrogen gas discharge pipe(11) is exposed, and connected to the hydrogen gas passage pipe. A discharge valve unit(12) is installed in the hydrogen gas discharge pipe to discharge hydrogen gas from reactors by opening the hydrogen gas passage with a control unit(6). A fire detecting sensor(13) is electrically connected to the control unit to open the hydrogen gas passage by controlling the discharge valve unit in detecting the fire.
