PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for inspecting a micro lens array using laser are provided to prevent subjective judgement of a user and reduce an error by comparing standardized data value and the measured value by monitoring scanned micro lens array. CONSTITUTION: A laser scanning device(10) generates a laser for applying the laser to a certain area. An optical sensor(30) senses the strength of the laser diffracted while transmitting a micro lens array. An A/D(Analog to Digital) converter(40) converts a signal recognized in the optical sensor into a digital signal. A database(50) stores standard information related to the micro lens array. A comparing element(60) compares the data output from the A/D converter with the standard information stored in the database. An output element(70) outputs the result of the comparison.
