In a device to automatically control loading devices, especially wooden pallets, the loading devices are checked individually by mechanical and/or optical sensors for their adherence to standard dimensions, whereby at least some sensors (12, 13, 14), preferably all sensors, are combined in one sensor unit (11), which sensor unit (11) essentially forms a horizontal and level roller conveyor directly on the track (V) of the loading devices and onto which the loading devices rest.In order to achieve faster inspecting times at a simultaneously higher detection rate and to record more relevant dimensions at a faster throughput of loading devices than with previous devices, a single automatic transporting unit (T) has been provided for the loading device which is separate from the track (T).<IMAGE> |
