PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize file copying from one imaging apparatus to another imaging apparatus with a simple operation in the state in which a plurality of imaging apparatuses are gathered. SOLUTION: This imaging apparatus is provided with an imaging circuit 4 for generating an image, a file storing part 13 for generating a file including the image and storing the file, a communicating part 10 for transmitting the file among the plurality of imaging apparatus, a displaying part 6 for displaying information, a switch group 15 for inputting an instruction to the imaging apparatus, and an identifier storing part 8 for storing identifiers for identifying the imaging apparatuses. The displaying part displays the identifiers for specifying the imaging apparatus in relation to files held in the plurality of imaging apparatus connected by a communicating part and information on the files held by the imaging apparatus and displays that a prescribed file is selected with the operation of the switch group.
