WATERPROOFING METHOD AND STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A waterproofing method is provided to improve the durability of a waterproof layer, to control the thickness of a waterproof layer easily, to improve work efficiency by shortening a period of construction and to have excellent waterproofing efficiency with low expenses. CONSTITUTION: The waterproofing method comprises the steps of: removing impurities on a concrete base(1a) and reinforcing a vulnerable area such as the cracked or damaged part of the base(1a); forming an adhesive layer(3) by placing primer on the base(1a); forming a reinforcement layer(5) by attaching a jute mat on the upper side of the adhesive layer(3); forming a primary waterproof layer(6) by applying coating materials on the top of the reinforcement layer(5); forming a secondary waterproof layer(7) by applying coating materials on the top of the primary waterproof layer(6); and forming a protection layer for a waterproof layer by attaching many asphalt waterproof sheets(8) on the top of the secondary waterproof layer(7) to protect primary and secondary waterproof layers(6,7).
