<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an air vent member fitted to a ceiling in order to ventilate a garret with a material having no fear of generating rust and facilitating secondary processing. <P>SOLUTION: In this structure of an eaves soffit air vent member, incombustible volume expansion material 7 is fitted to both surfaces of a raised part 2 of the air vent member 1 having a substantially U-shaped section, which is formed of an upper horizontal part 2 having a vent hole 5, a raised part 3 and a lower horizontal part 4 having a plurality of slit-like vent holes 6 made by processing an aluminum material. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
