<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting controller through which cross talk light emission of light emitting elements is effectively suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The output of a driving voltage source 6, which consists of a DC-DC converter, is controlled based on the normal direction voltage of light emitting elements arranged on a light emitting display panel 1 and the elements are constant current driven by an output voltage VH of the source 6. A reverse bias generating circuit 5 generates a reverse bias voltage VM to be added to light emitting elements in their nonturned-on state by employing the output voltage of the source 6. The circuit 5 is provided with a constant voltage diode D<SB>1</SB>and therefore, the VM, in which a prescribed level is made lower with respect to the voltage VH, is generated. Thus, the value of the voltage VM is generated following the normal direction voltage of the elements and cross talk light emission is effectively suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
