<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recognizing USB device equipment and the USB device equipment for resetting a bus and for enabling sure recognition of a target device on the side of a host PC when USB devices as a plurality of target devices connected on the downstream side of a HUB exist. <P>SOLUTION: Hardware reset signals are supplied from hardware reset circuits 16, 17 that receive power enable signals from a HUB 11 respectively to the USB devices 12, 13 connected with the downstream side of the HUB 11.
