<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform always stable OSD (On Screen Display) even if pedestal levels of two video signals differ from each other in performing the OSD where one of both the video signals is inserted to the other. <P>SOLUTION: A video signal processing method and an apparatus are characterized in that when a signal resulting from clamping a pedestal of a first input video signal and a signal resulting from clamping a pedestal of a second input video signal are alternately switched and outputted, a voltage of the signal level resulting from clamping the pedestal of the first input video signal is used for a clamp voltage for clamping the pedestal of the second video signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
