CHARGE CONTROLLER FOR SECONDARY BATTERY FOR VEHICLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charge controller for secondary battery for vehicle wherein the charging state of a secondary battery can be properly controlled.

SOLUTION: The charge controller comprises an alternating-current generator 10; a rectifier 20 which rectifies the output voltage of the alternating-current generator 10 and generates a rectified voltage; a regulator 30 which is controlled by a microcomputer 70 to control the rectified voltage from the rectifier 20 and outputs the voltage as a regulated voltage to a battery B and an electrical load L; and a current sensor 40 which detects currents flowing to the battery B. The microcomputer 70 causes the regulator 30 to control the regulated voltage so that the integrated value of a charged/discharged capacity obtained from the current detected by the current sensor 40 is zeroed.
