PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic device superior in cooling efficiency. SOLUTION: In the electronic device constituted of a chassis 1 provided with a recording medium rotation driving part 17 and a reading head driving part 18, and a lid body for covering both of the driving parts 17, 18, a cooling means is installed which cools at least one from among the chassis 1 and both of the driving parts 17, 18. The cooling means which cools at least one from among the chassis 1 and both of the driving parts 17, 18 is installed, so that cooling efficiency is improved and troubles due to temperature rise are hard to be generated.
