PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator excellent in security by promoting users to effectively open a door even when coolant is leaked and a notification means is actuated in a refrigerator using combustible coolant. SOLUTION: In a freezing cycle, a compressor (20), a condenser (27), throttling mechanisms (29), (30), evaporators (14), (16), and an accumulator (34) are sequentially connected, so as to seal combustible coolant. When leakage of the coolant is detected or leakage of the coolant is detected in advance by a detecting device (80) and a detecting means for detecting the leakage of the coolant or detecting the leakage of the coolant in advance (S10), a timer is activated (S11).
