PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera device capable of simultaneously picking up the images of a side visual field and a front visual field with a single image pickup element with a simple constitution so as to turn the inversion directions of these visual fields to the same direction. SOLUTION: The camera device 3 is provided with an image pickup means 11 consisting of an image pickup element 11b and an image pickup lens 11c arranged in front of the element 11b; and prisms 15L, 16R turning their rear faces 15B, 16B to the lens 11c, turning their side faces 15L, 16R to respectively different side visual fields, internally reflecting light components 13L, 13R made incident on the side faces 15L, 16R between the prism side faces 15R, 16L of the anti-visual field side and the prism side faces 15L, 16R of the visual field side twice, and projecting the reflected light components from the rear faces 15B, 16B. The means 11 simultaneously forms, on the element 11b via the lens 11c, images of light components 13L, 13R made incident from the side visual field through the prisms 15, 16 and light 13F made incident from the front visual field without passing the prisms 15, 16.
